AUTHORIZATION AND RELEASE OF RIGHTS

I hereby freely and without restraint give and grant to VF International S.A.G.L. – THE NORTH FACE Division ("TNF"), and its representatives, successors, assigns, licensees, employees, and any person, corporation or entity acting under its permission or with its authority, or for whom it might be acting, including anyone distributing or disseminating advertising or other communications by or regarding TNF (collectively the "Licensed Parties"):
the irrevocable, non-exclusive right, license and permission to alter, retouch, or crop in any way, publish, print, exhibit, display, reproduce, distribute, transmit and/or otherwise use or exploit:
(i)	Any statement or script, or any portions thereof, made by me (the "Script"), regarding or relating to the Project (as defined below), and 
(ii)	Any still or moving photographic image depicting myself, that I submit to TNF through the official website of TNF (the "Images"),
as well as to use my name in connection thereof, in such manner, and with such frequency, in whole or part, as TNF shall determine in its sole discretion, in connection with the 10 Years Celebration of The North Face Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc project (the "Project").
For sake of completeness, the above rights are granted Worldwide and for indefinite period of duration, for any lawful purpose including but not limited to publicity, advertising, editorials, in any media now or hereafter known, including without limitation by means of Internet, billboard, radio, television, printing, public displays and exhibitions.


I agree that my participation herewith is voluntary and I assume complete responsibility for my actions herewith

I also declared that the herein set forth assignment is granted to TNF without any right to compensation or consideration to me and without any further authorization by me.

I hereby waive all rights of inspection or approval with regard to any recording, taping, reproduction, proposed printed, publication, and/or other use of my name, the Script and the Images, in connection with the Project.

I hereby declare, represent and warrant that (a) I am 18 (eighteen) years of age or older and have the right to contract in my own name and have full right to enter into this Authorization and Release form; (b) the Script and the Images are original and created by myself and do not infringe upon the copyright or any other right of any other person, including rights of privacy or publicity of any person depicted therein; and (c) no third party has any rights in, to, or arising out of, or in connection with, the Script and the Images, including, without limitation, any claims for fees, royalties, or other payments.

I also hereby release, discharge and agree to hold harmless the Licensed Parties from and against any and all liability to me or any other third parties resulting from their use of my name, the Script and the Images, in connection with the Project. More specifically, the herein set forth release includes any claims for libel, slander, invasion of privacy, infringement of my right of publicity, defamation, and any other personal and/or proprietary rights, and I agree that I shall not now or in the future assert or maintain any such claims against the Licensed Parties with respect to the subject matter herein.

This authorization and release shall be binding upon my heirs, successors, assigns, and personal representatives, without regard to whether it is expressly acknowledged in any instrument of succession or assignment.

 I have read the above Authorization and Release form, prior to its execution; I fully understand the contents thereof.
